Save the date: STU Townhall Discussion on the ICSC Compensation Review

Wednesday 17 February 2016 at 12:30 in Room XI

Please participate in a lively and open debate on the ICSC Compensation Review with Diab Tabari, President of the** Federation of International Civil Servants' Associations (FICSA) and a high representative of the International Civil Service Commission (ICSC**).

The STU is affiliated to FICSA and it is the role of FICSA to represent Staff at the United Nations General Assembly. The FICSA President expressed his opposition to the adopted reforms of the compensation package for staff in the Professional and higher categories(family allowances, spouse benefit, child allowance, assignment grant, rental deduction, education grant, mobility and hardship scheme, etc.).

The Townhall will also be an opportunity to communicate our concerns regarding the upcoming ICSC Compensation Review for General Service and national staff(family allowances, spouse allowance, child allowance, language allowance, etc.) and allow FICSA to transmit them to New York. We will also be able to contribute to future discussions within the ICSC on performance appraisal and recognition.
