The UNESCO Choir performs at official UNESCO ceremonies and gives concerts at UNESCO and outside. The Choir is composed of approximately 60 singers of all voices, members of UNESCO staff, of NGOs and singers from outside UNESCO, with varying levels of musical experience.

The Choir Director, Connie Glessner, and the Musical Director, Cyrille Kirilov, have wide experience in the teaching of music and singing. The Choir plans to give at least two concerts each year. During the 2018-2019 Season, the Choir performed at the Theatre Jean Vilar at Suresnes, the Children’s end of year party at UNESCO, at the Eglise Protestante de l’Annonciation, Passy, in the Hemicycle of the Palais de l’Europe at Strasbourg to celebrate 70 years of the Council of Europe, and at the annual Fête de la Musique in UNESCO.

The Choir rehearses twice a week, Mondays from 18h30 to 20h , and Thursdays from 13h to 14h15 in UNESCO (Fontenoy). Choir members are asked, if possible, to attend at least one rehearsal a week.

  • Couples: € 490
  • STU members: € 240
  • Students/Interns: € 135.
