Dear colleagues,

Please find here the summary by the representative of the Federation of International Civil Servants' Associations (FICSA) of the resolution adopted by the Fifth Committee of the United Nations General Assembly at its 70th Session.

This resolution is in particular about:

• the review of the compensation package for staff in the Professional and higher categories, and
• the implementation date of the newmandatory age of separation.

The STU will participe at the end of January in the 69th Council of FICSA and keep you informed of the discussions that will be held there.
